Devon McVey, our intrepid fight leader, discovered that free speech zones still existed on Kentucky’s websites. With the recent victory in Ohio fresh in his mind, he promptly contacted administrators, offering assistance in reworking the free speech policies.

Despite being told to wait two weeks to speak to the governor, Devon’s proactive approach led to a call back from the governor the same day. He confidently asserted that the policies would be fixed within a month. True to his word, just two weeks later, the secretary inquired about the policies in question.
With SRC’s expertly crafted ideal policy in hand, the changes were swiftly implemented, highlighting our campus’s reputation for driving policy change. Devon’s tenacity and our team’s dedication have once again secured a triumph for free speech.
