ME State chair Wyatt Ford and Northeast DRD Tony Mesta were in contact with SRC, they gathered volunteers to phone bank to end the vaccine mandates at Umaine. Laurel Libby after understanding SRC thought that the snowball effect from Community colleges dropping their mandates in Maine could topple the Umaine system.

After pressure from students Libby and other Maine legislators prepared a letter to admins demanding the end of the mandate. At first, Admins claimed saying they would do the policy change next semester then after continued pressure succumbed and changed the policy right away resulting in a systemwide win in Maine.
