Chapter Plan

The purpose of the Fordham YAL chapter is to provide an educational, enabling, and supportive catalyst to students who have faith in liberty. The purpose of YAL at Fordham, chiefly, will be to teach students the skills that they need to succeed in politics as men and women who believe in liberty. Part of a Jesuit education is a concept called "Eloquentia Perfecta"; the ability of a person to speak in a way that is articulate, meaningful, and incisive. The YAL chapter at Fordham will take that tenet of this university and apply it to conveying the message and the idea of liberty in a way that is effective. In the end, the purpose will be what students will get out of the YAL chapter in addition to the actual spreading of knowledge of liberty throughout the university and throughout the New York City community.
