In Memory of Kenny Brown
The liberty movement lost a dedicated warrior.
Kenny Brown, Boone County Clerk, passed away unexpectedly on March 8th.
Kenny, a lifelong resident of Boone County, grew up on a small tobacco farm in Union, KY. After graduating from Boone County High School, Brown went on to play football on two postseason college bowl teams at the University of Kentucky. Kenny learned early in life the value of teamwork and hard work while playing for legendary high school coach Owen Hauck and College Football Hall of Fame Inductee Jerry Claiborne.
Kenny Brown was known as an outspoken "constitutional conservative" and local activist. Kenny was elected Boone County Republican Party Chairman from 2004 – 2005. In 2008 Kenny co-founded and chaired Citizens for Lower Taxes, a non-profit, all-volunteer, political action committee that fought to stop the $48 million "Park Tax" initiative that was overwhelmingly defeated at the ballot box in November 2008. In November 2010 he became the first Republican to ever be elected County Clerk in Boone County.
Kenny committed his life to the principles of liberty and served as a dedicated activist. He was a living demonstration of what it means to #MakeLibertyWin. Respectable. Effective. Principled.
To honor Kenny's legacy, please consider your most generous donation to help elect more liberty leaders like Representative Savannah Maddox and Congressman Thomas Massie.
