This fight started with Carter Rachal and his chapter reaching out to the school to ask about their vaccine mandate. A few months before the legislature in Louisiana had banned schools from mandating the vaccine and the school was in direct violation.

Upon learning this Carter and the SRC team mobilized several republican legislators in the state to call into the office of the system president. The system claimed YAL was lying and that no mandate existed. In response several legislatures called in again and at the increased pressure the system president reached out to the SRC team apologizing and suddenly policies began to vanish from websites and we had officially won.
