My wife and I homeschool our two children and teach them the word of God and ways of God. We would have it no other way. It is our firm belief that it was God who blessed my wife and I with our beautiful children through a bodily function he created called reproduction, along with the command to “be fruitful and multiply.” This means that God created ‘our’ children through us (my wife and I). In other words, God placed in man and woman an inalienable right to procreate through love.
He is the creator, and my wife and I are the ‘procreators.’ Our children are a holy gift from God and to put it bluntly, they’re ours (God’s included). Unfortunately, there are those servants and serpents of the false god Murdoch who believe, teach, and make rule’s that are contrary to God, parental rights, and the freedom guaranteed to all American’s in the U.S. Constitution.
Take for example, Senator Hillary Clinton. For Sen. Clinton, recently appointed to the position of Secretary of State for the possibly ineligible incoming President Elect Barack Obama (that’s another story), once authored a book titled “It Takes a Village”. If you want to get an idea of the mindset of Hillary Clinton (and Bill too), go to your public library (don’t go buy the book) and peruse through its pages. It’s dreadfully anti-parent and anti-family. It’s also ‘bone’ chilling; to say the least. Click link to see some of the way parents are losing rights ( Parental Rights Losing ground ). I won’t go into the specifics of her anti-family and anti-parenting book here because you can sum up her entire book with just knowing that ratifying the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child has been a long term goal of Mrs. Clinton and her globalist, anti-family values mob that includes the likes of Senator Barbara Boxer. Now, as the incoming Secretary of State, she’ll be in position to ratify the UNRC as her husband did while he was the POTUS. Fortunately for American parents during Bill Clinton’s presidential administration, Clinton’s ratification of the UNRC was dead on arrival.
If we fast forward from the time Bill Clinton ratified the first UNRC during his presidency to last week, we learn that Michael Farris J.D., the founder of the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and Chancellor of Patrick Henry College (PHC), visited the U.S. Senate with the Lawyers for a Senate Office.
While there, Mr. Farris was told that, “those who want to change family policy in America to comply with internationals law are preparing for a full-scale effort to seek ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child during this next Congress.” In turn, Farris warned homeschooling parents that, “Senator Barbara Boxer recently told a planning group that “They intend to use Children’s Health Care as leverage to seek ratification of this UN Children’s rights treaty.” To put it bluntly, Boxer and Clinton, along with the incoming Obama administration will shove the ratifying of the UNRC down the throats of American parents. To make matters worse, parents that do not desire to have their parental rights abrogated were called a “narcissistic sovereignty crowd” by a speaker in the presence of Senator Boxer.Published in
