On 8/29, Appalachian State YAL’s meeting had an outstanding turnout. After a week of posting flyers and chalking sidewalks, the effort for freedom in Boone NC certainly paid off. Our first formal meeting of the semester had an incredible attendance, with more than 30 new members attending and 10 or so returning members joining in on the discussion!
I headed the meeting, with representatives from both Students for Liberty and App State’s American Corrections Association present to give a brief presentation of activities planned for the semester, which will allow the clubs to cooperatively organize. The club is looking forward to a great year filled with insightful, as well as entertaining, events to spread the message of liberty on Appalachian State’s Campus!
