Arizona State University Students Learn Their Rights!

Young Americans for Liberty at Arizona State University raised constitutional awareness on campus during this year’s Constitution Week!

Our YAL chapter joined with the ASU chapter of Students for Sensible Drug Policy to host Marc Victor, a prominent local defense attorney, former senatorial candidate, and outspoken advocate of individual liberty, on ASU’s Tempe campus.

We covered the school with 11 x 17 posters, as well as some creative hand-made advertisements advertising our “Know Your Rights” event.

YAL activists then took to the pathways, common areas, and even the library, passing out event flyers and pocket Constitutions while striking up conversations with ASU students about our nation’s founding document.

On the night of the event, more than fifty students showed up to learn about how to deal with police and exercise their rights!

Afterwards, we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings to relax, connect, and talk about the event!
