Ax the Tax at Vassar

Last week Vassar’s YAL chapter advocated Axing the Tax. Tabling in the Retreat, the central cafe on campus, members engaged students in discussion on how taxpayer dollars are wasted by the government. Many were surprised to learn the ridiculous spending habits of the government, which wastes money on trinkets, decorations and other useless items. We also informed students how their tax dollars were going towards the perpetuation of systemic oppression throughout society, and that the 70,000+ page tax code benefits the wealthy elite and hurts the middle and lower classes.

Our chapter looks forward to future tabling events so we can continue educating students, faculty and administrators about the ideas of liberty.  ATT IIATT IATT III
