Brandeis University Free Speech Ball Event

This past Monday, March 13, the Brandeis University Young Americans for Liberty chapter held a free speech ball recruitment drive. The event started out in the morning around 10 A.M and lasted throughout the day until about 5:30 P.M. Students had the opportunity to use a marker and write whatever they wanted on a large inflatable beach ball that various members of the YAL chapter rolled around the campus throughout the day. Some people chose to write positive messages, others wrote political messages, and some just wrote the first word that came to their mind. The event was largely successful as dozens of students were able to leave their mark on the ball. The ball will be displayed in the atrium of the SCC, which is a large building through which many people pass through and will now be able to see what free speech is all about!
