Bucknell University hosts Dinesh D’Souza

Bucknell students, faculty, and community members came out to hear best selling author, political commentator, and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza give a talk on intellectual diversity, capitalism, and why America is an exceptional nation.

The joint event between Bucknell Conservatives Club, Bucknell College Republicans, and YAL at Bucknell began the night before D’Souza’s talk with a showing of his latest movie, America: Imagine the World Without Her

D’Souza argued that the most important type of diversity is diversity of thought. “Diversity is not about race, gender, or sexual orientation; those are the most inessential, unimportant aspects of diversity. […] They should be prisms through which we view the entire world.”

Mr. D’Souza brought a viewpoint much different than the one many professors espouse here at Bucknell, and the talk was a great success. View his full talk on YouTube.
