“Can We Take A Joke?” Screening at St. Edward’s University

Young Americans for Liberty at St. Edward’s University had to have its grand screening of the hilarious and insightful documentary called “Can We Take A Joke?” a day before Freedom Day due to scheduling conflicts and school bureaucracy. That didn’t stop our enthusiasm and excitement to host the movie and we pulled it off without a hitch! About 40 people showed up!
People getting pizza and signing up
With the help of the awesome people of YAL at St. Ed’s and from the national organization our event was made possible. We made sure that people knew what YAL is all about as well as making sure that they knew about our future meetings. We stayed within budget and got plenty of pizza and drinks for everyone who came.
Awesome turnout!
Reviews were generally favorable with people laughing throughout the film and saying that they simply liked it and found it to be really relevant to the emerging PC culture on college campuses. It looks like YAL has helped slowed down the anti-free speech momentum, and we’re going to continue to do so!
