Catapalooza Recruitment Drive at Montana State University

With the crisp breeze of fall en route into the Big Sky Country, Montana, the Montana State University Young Americans for Liberty chapter kicked off the school year with a recruitment drive. Every fall semester when bright-eyed freshman are unboxing their belongings into their cramped dorms, MSU holds an involvement fair named Catapalooza. After chalking the sidewalk and setting up posters for the World’s Smallest Political Quiz, the table was constantly busy with questions about the quiz and where individuals fall.

We are looking forward to this semester as the excitement was bursting at the seams. We even had an individual tell us how they have been following YAL on Facebook since high school. One of the current members even spent her 19th birthday tabling for YAL.Catapalooza was crucial for recruiting not only new members, but also for people to attend our first Liberty Pub that will be held this Friday. Our Liberty Pub topic will is “Trump. Clinton. War Mongers.” The speaker will be YAL’s own alumni, Kyle Mack. This event will be held together with Turning Point USA.
