The main goal of Longwood for Liberty has been to remove the free speech monitoring policy through our protests. Well just a week ago L for L notified the Universities governing board that we intended to break with their policy of free speech limitation, and pass out constitutions anyway. So we did. We were prepared to comply fully with any campus security that would forcefully stifle our efforts to pass out our great nations law, but it never got that far. Longwood for Liberty passed out pocket sized constitutions for the better part of an hour in the most busy part of campus with absolutely no challenge from campus authority, other than a passive-aggressive e-mail. This of course begs the question, if you wont even enforce a policy limiting our first amendment rights, why even have the policy?
