As I read the BBC’s fond website it’s amazing how their “Culture” Secretary wants to talk with incoming President Barack Obama and how the Internet should have specific ratings on particular websites like with movies, music and video games. But little does he realize how things slip through the cracks and let parents keep an eye on their children’s Internet presence and let parents parent rather then putting more government involvement. And he’s putting up the flag that this isn’t an attempt to squash free speech, but in an attempt to do it for the children. Read more.
I sure hope our President-elect or our Houses of Congress don’t hear of this otherwise they’ll add another layer to our nanny-state .Published in
