Constitution Day 2016 at Glendale Community College

Young Americans for Liberty made a strong start at GCC this semester by educating and mobilizing campus youth to take part in spreading the message of liberty on Constitution Day.

Students, staff, and visitors alike expressed keen interest in our giant Constitution and were eager to learn about what we stand for here at YAL. Many were surprised to see their results on the political quiz, as they had not previously identified as libertarian. Several new members were made after only a short conversation. By the end of the day, almost everyone had taken a pocket Constitution to share with their friends after having stopped by our table.

Students felt compelled to fight for their rights after learning how their liberties have eroded in recent years, especially with the upcoming election. New recruits agreed the limited government which the founding fathers established must be preserved. GCC Young Americans for Liberty had a successful Fall recruitment drive, ensuring a successful semester advancing liberty for all.
