Constitution Day at Bethany College!

Last Friday, we celebrated Constitution Day on Bethany’s campus! We partnered with the History Club, which participates in Constitution Day every year. We set up at the cafeteria on the main campus. We had a large podium and a microphone and speakers; so members of the history club and YAL could read sections of the Constitution aloud. We went through reading the Constitution quite a few times, and some people actually decided to join YAL right on the spot by participating and reading with us and handing out Constitutions and the basic information about YAL itself. All in all, it was a rather successful day, and we gained some new members from it. We are currently unsure of what our next activism event is, but no matter what it is we know it will be great!
