Constitution Day at Gustavus Adolphus College

The Gustavus Adolphus College Young Americans for Liberty had a wonderful time doing our annual Constitution Day event. We tabled right outside our cafeteria with free constitutions, free cookies, and a free speech wall. We went through about 600 cookies, and our free speech wall hardly had any white space left over.

We also received a ton of sign ups! The cookies we had were classic “frost-your-own” that are incredibly popular on our campus. We worked with our Dean of Students Office who helped fund the cookies. Since colleges are mandated to host a Constitution Day event, our college was glad that we could take over the event. Next year make sure you check with your college to do a collaboration; it was a win-win for us!

Good luck this fall to all my fellow YALers!
