Constitution Day at Kutztown

September 17 marks a historic day, Constitution Day!

Kutztown University celebrated by constructing a giant free speech wall that was double sided, and have the preamble to the constitution displayed largely on it.

We set up at 9 a.m. with countless constitutions and a blank wall. By the end of the day we were Constitution-less and people could hardly find a place on the wall. We approached people telling them to celebrate the day with us, because if we didn’t have the Constitution, we wouldn’t have the rights we take for granted today.

Tons of people stopped at our wall to write their thoughts, and after talking to everyone we got 30 signups.

At the end of the day, we were left with a beautiful wall, and a lot of students genuinely interested in our organization.
