It was a successful Constitution Day at St Cloud State University. Our YAL chapter passed out pocket constitutions as well as free speech ball that was 10 ft in diameter!
Many students really enjoyed writing on the free speech ball as well as getting their own pocket constitution. Sadly, two hours into the event there was a thunderstorm and the chapter had to deflate the free speech ball and move inside. However, this did not mark the end of Constitution Day.
Thanks to the thinking of LI field rep Craig Dixon, the chapter manage to quickly create a small free speech wall and this was also a great success among the student population. Despite some of the set backs the chapter faced, Constitution Day was a great success with 20 new sign ups and seven more people showing up for the follow meetingPublished in
