Constitution Day at Truman State!

Last Friday, September 16th, the Young Americans for Liberty chapter at Truman State University in Missouri celebrated Constitution Day by saturating our campus with Constitutional awareness. We handed out 250+ pocket Constitutions in a span of three hours! On top of this we practically cleared out our chapter’s inventory of the “What to say to the Police” cards and various other tabling literature as well.

On top of handing out an unprecedented amount of pocket Constitutions, we also hoisted our very own Free Speech Board next to our table which got an incredible amount of use in the short span it was up. It was inspiring to see how many people relished the idea of anonymously writing whatever they’d like!

At the end of the day, we sat out Free Speech Board next to the stage in the Student Union Building’s HUB where they were gearing up to host a special event to celebrate Constitution Day.

Our chapter would like to thank the Heritage Foundation for providing our chapter with 150 pocket Constitutions as well as Young Americans for Liberty for the materials and the training we needed to outperform every single other table on our campus. We can’t wait for our next opportunity to spread the word!
