Our Young Americans for Liberty chapter here at A&M prepared a display to help visualize the cost of the war on terror. We set out flags representing civilian deaths in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia. There were also flags representing the World Trade Center deaths and the deaths in the U.N. Coalition.
Unfortunately, few ever saw it. The signs were gone by morning, so the above are the only pictures we have. While it may be a bit disheartening, we won’t let the disrespect of a few turn us away, since we know our fellow Aggies hold themselves to higher standards.Published in
