YAL at UGA hosted an open discussion regarding environmental concerns and the free market. The discussion ranged from government economic policies to the technicalities of fossil fuel alternatives.
The discussion was a success! The relevancy and interesting nature of the topic drew in new people. Our group members discussed a wide range of topics, including the scientific and political nature of climate change, the role of government in environmental issues, and the technicalities of solar and nuclear energies as alternatives to fossil fuels. It is important to have discussions about relevant issues, and I believe that we successfully provided a platform for them.Published in
