Eastern Kentucky University’s Young Americans for Liberty chapter made the thirty-mile trip up to Lexington, Kentucky to attend the YAL State Convention on April 5. We brought eight members to the event, which was the largest contingent from any school in attendance, even the host school University of Kentucky. Our members learned vital information that will be applied to our own university. We also interacted with sponsors and plan to use our new connections on campus. For instance, we will bring Conservatives Concerned about the Death Penalty onto campus next semester. We also met Rep. Thomas Massie, Commissioner James Commer, and Julie Borowski!
