“For excellence in advancing the mission of its group in service to the campus community and the world.”

Award Group

Two weeks ago Elizabethtown College Young Americans for Liberty received one of three Student Group Leadership Awards during the Elizabethtown College Annual Awards Ceremony. The award was given to us for our success in our first year on campus!

The mission of Etown YAL is, “to promote the philosophy of liberty by educating the Etown community and advocating for individual rights and constitutionally limited government.” Some of our accomplishments in our first year include:

  • A Constitution Day free speech wall and removal of our campus speech code
  • highly attended V for Vendetta showing
  • A feature on the Ron Paul Channel
  • Attendance at ISFLC and the PA YAL Con
  • And fundraising

Award

Our group was ecstatic to receive the award and hopes it will further promote the work our chapter is doing on campus.
