On September 30th, we had our first round of recruitment at Normandale Community College. Despite it being a Friday, we were able to connect with dozens of people on campus, including faculty/janitors, and get them engaged in conversation about what it means to be for liberty, and how it is related to our constitutional rights.
We were able to get 18 signatures of people interested in being a part of YAL at Normandale in just a couple of hours. Although we aren’t officially recognized by the school as of yet, this was a big first step for our chapter, and it was exciting to see so many people open to a new way of thinking about the world we live in. At Normandale, we plan to focus on exposing people to libertarian philosophy and ideals through open discussion at out meetings. Much to look forward to in the future!Published in
