First Semester Update at Truman State University

Truman University’s YAL Chapter has made big strides this semester! Our initial members have done a lot to expand our chapter. Early October we clipboarded on campus and received 28 signatures expressing interest. Six followed up with us, and from that two joined our chapter.

Combined with strong networking that we’ve done throughout the year we stand at a strong seventeen. For now we are working on garnering more members and fighting through the lengthy and disorganized chartering process; a battle that has been drug out through this entire semester because of the school’s disorganization and inefficiency. Our members are getting pumped to host Missouri’s first YAL State Convention in the spring and hope to see members from across the Midwest in attendance!
