Our first meeting of the semester was successful as we continue to engage FIU students about their liberties under fire. The main topic of discussion was an introduction of YAL’s core principles and our mission for involvement on FIU’s campus going forward. Although attendance fell below expectations, YAL-FIU gained a new Vice President in Ms. Kassy Casonova, who will be an integral part of our reborn chapter’s outreach to the home of the Golden Panthers. Also in attendance was a member of Miami’s Rothbardian Circle who provided contact information for both Larry Reed and Adam Kokesh, two great potential speakers for our chapter to bring on campus.
