Free Speech at University of Southern Indiana

This past Friday, my chapter requested to hold a free speech event and collect signatures to be rid of our free speech zones.  The university was skeptical of it at first and tried to limit us to a certain free zone that would already be in use by an off campus group during our requested time.  I pushed forward and said that we would use all available areas to students and the university  ended up having to comply.  We collected over 75 signatures, with more petitions floating through the classrooms.  It may have been a little cold, but a guy in shorts with a giant beach ball, people made exceptions! It was amazing to be out there on our campus and work to #MakeLibertyWin!
