Free Speech Ball at Washtenaw Community College

The First Amendment right to free speech and expression was celebrated this Monday at Washtenaw Community College. With the help of the Leadership Institute’s Regional Field Director Rebekah Beeton, I inflated and rolled the free speech ball around the WCC Student Center, engaging with students of all ages and political backgrounds, and discussing the principles behind Young Americans for Liberty and what issues we stand for. In search of a Chapter President and students willing to get involved in creating a new chapter, we received almost fifty signatures in about two hours. We can’t wait to get a chapter started before the end of the semester to support individual liberty at WCC!
