With the Ohio primary fast approaching the Political Science department at Capital University approached our group about hosting a voter drive to maximize turnout on campus.
Our chapter reserved some space inside the student union on Tuesday morning and set up a swag filled table to muster some voters. We had a great time and we were able to connect with a surprising number of students at Capital who did not register to vote yet.
Additionally, we were able to help a number of students re-register to Franklin County so they will not have to go home, or vote by absentee ballet. It was a great time and we even managed to get some new sign-ups out of the event.
The voter drive was an awesome way for the group to get its face on campus and get connected with students on campus.Published in
