On Sept. 19th, the George Washington University YAL Chapter celebrated Constitution Week by tabling for signups in Kogan Plaza. We drew students to our table by handing out cookies and Pocket Constitutions. Our tabling was very successful. We were able to spread the word about YAL and attract a large number of interested students. Throughout the day, you could find professors and students gathering around the table to engage and debate our members.
Our entire chapter came out to table and recruit. We also used the opportunity to discuss future plans for growth among our membership, and how to engage the student body effectively. After constructive input and offers to collaborate from related student organization leaders, we all felt motivated and surefooted in pursuing our next steps. We all left that night feeling very motivated for the future!Published in
