A few weeks ago, I went over to Prince George’s community college in Maryland and held a recruitment drive with the intention of starting a chapter. While I was unable to do that on campus, I did get several sign ups which I was later able to use to find someone willing to be the chapter president.
The priority since that point has been getting members plugged in and to make at least two of them dues paying members to get PGCC up to active status. This remains the goal to creating a strong chapter and perhaps another recruitment event will help generate membership interested in holding activism events like Bring Them Home. I look forward to helping PGCC devolop into a strong chapter in the coming weeks.Published in
