Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne YAL tabled on September 17, 2012 to celebrate and raise awareness for Constitution Day. The event gathered attention from students and professors as free pocket Constitutions were handed out. Additional resources were distributed about upcoming events and also the weekly meetings (which are held on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.). Nearly 20 students signed up for our email list.
The enthusiastic reactions from these students at IPFW, as shown in the pictures here, proves that there is a growing interest in basic constitutional principles and the liberty movement at large. IPFW YAL presented a poster with quick facts about the constitution and also information over constitution day. Members of the IPFW YAL chapter utilized two tables with resources provided by Young Americans for Liberty and Students For Liberty to engage students interest in topics pertaining to liberty. IPFW YAL is honored to communicate the core of libertarian ideology, which can be attributed to the principles stated in the constitution. Our chapter looks forward to future tabling events to educate people about libertarian philosophy and also recruit interested individuals!
