For months, I’ve seen blog and forum posts insisting that President Obama and his cronies are determined to take guns and ammunition away from this country’s citizens. A quick Google News search has yielded no fresh stories about any such actual administrative announcement. Does the Times have it wrong, or is there actual interest from the Obama White House in signing such a treaty (and keeping the lid on it as long as possible)? Note: Any such treaty agreement would need to be voted on and passed by 67 members of the Senate before becoming ‘official’.
