Jury Veto Power Comes to UCF

In response to a recent assault on the first amendment in Orange County Florida, the UCF chapter of Young Americans for Liberty invited James Cox, the Florida state coordinator for the Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA), to discuss the importance of Jury Nullification.

Cox passed out jury rights brochures to the students and explained the role that jurors can play in advancing liberty(see video below).

Several members of the UCF Chapter of YAL have been taking an active role in informing jurors of their rights.  Jury Nullification is a tool that can effectively combat tyranny on the local, state, and national level.  In a time where escalating government abuse threatens the life, liberty and property of the individual, it is essential to throw figurative wrenches in the gears of the state.
