Kennesaw State Free Speech

On October 30th the Kennesaw State chapter executed another successful free speech event. There were many meaningful conversations that took place with our fellow students. We spoke of criminal justice reform, government spying and a slew of other topics. We had one individual who literally decided on the spot to join our group and help us out. The students greatly appreciated that we were open to all points of view and were there simply to discuss everyday issues. It was a packed day for clubs on campus but our YAL table most certainly stood out.

We are planning on hosting a follow-up and interest meeting on Friday, November 3rd. The next event on the agenda is, “Restore the Fourth”. We are very hopeful that the message will be well-received as we have received many comments about privacy and the lack of it.
