KWC Restore the Fourth

On October 26th, the YAL chapter at KWC hosted our very first activism event! We started out that morning by passing out the warrants around campus that were included in the kit we received to the people who weren’t abiding by the “laws” that were stated on the list, such as wearing a red shirt, carrying a backpack, using headphones, etc. That attracted a lot of attention and led people to ask questions about why we were handing out warrants to certain people, which was a fantastic icebreaker. Once we finished handing out warrants, we went back to the Rotunda for tabling. We were able to develop a lot more interest and awareness on campus, and we were also able to recruite a couple more members to our YAL chapter! Overall, the event was a success and we are looking forward to the next activism event!
