Doug Stanhope, the only living libertarian stand-up comic I know of, is about to go on tour. Stanhope endorsed the Free State Project and Ron Paul for the Republican nomination in 2008, so he is the real deal. Check out his take on “freedom” (warning: explicit language!):

Stanhope (according to Wikipedia) was influenced by Bill Hicks and George Carlin, my two favorite stand-up comics ever. They have inspired me to have my one New Years resolution: trying stand-up myself before the month is out. Tom Woods won’t do it, so I guess I will!
