Liberty and charity

There are many ways we can spread the ideas of liberty while representing Young Americans for Liberty. Perhaps the best is participating in charitable events in your local community. Seriously who doesn’t love private charity?

YAL

Young Americans for Liberty at the University of Tennessee along with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga recently attended Dancing with the Knoxville Star’s to raise money for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. This would have been impossible without the generous donation from YAL National. This showed that our organization isn’t just talk.

Glenn Jacobs aka Kane from the WWE was one of the dancers. For those who are unfamiliar with Glenn, he has contributed to the spread of liberty across the country. Glenn has spoken at the Liberty Political Action Conference for the past two years, along with college campuses to advance liberty.

However, Glenn did not do this with Dancing with the Knoxville Star’s; what he did was even better. There were two categories to be a winner. The first was the best dancer, and the second was who raised the most money. Glenn came in second for the most money raised. He raised over $20,000 and was only beat by two dollars. The 2015 Dancing with the Knoxville Star’s raised a record breaking $143,000 for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
