Last Thursday, August 31st we held our first membership recruitment drive of the year at Missouri Southern. YAL State chair Jaret Scharnhorst came to Joplin to help out with the recruiting. We had success in obtaining signatures on the clipboard and we had some fun using
“The Office” as a way to catch people’s attention.
I had written some messages on the sidewalks talking about the national debt and how it keeps growing. We also handed out several flyers giving people information on what we were about, what we stand for, and why they should care. We also talked about upcoming events within the organization and issues being discussed such as the fourth amendment.
