Marist Recruitment Drive Attracts Large Crowds

This past week was Marist College’s Activities Fair, where over a thousand students attended to get the chance to see all clubs and activities available at the college. Marist’s YAL chapter is not yet officially recognized by the school, so we were not allowed to have a table within the tent at the fair. This did not slow down the recruitment for the group as we rolled a 15-foot inflatable free speech beach ball around the fair. Our chapter received more sign-up’s than most of the other established clubs, at 156 signatures. Faculty and school administrators stopped by to learn about the group, and were more than willing to express their support for the group. Our first meeting will be next week, hopefully with 156 liberty warriors or more in attendance!
