Mobilizing on LSU’s Campus

Wednesday September 27th was our first activism event for our chapter and we started off with a free speech ball! The entire day was spectacular. We received very positive support from students passing by on campus, overall we had 200+ signatures on our free speech petition! We started the day at our campus’s “free speech alley” and ironically enough they told us we have to leave because we didn’t have a reservation! I guess there is no real free speech  in “free speech alley.” We decided to move the ball to the quad where we gained much higher foot traffic. All in all it was a great first day at YAL at LSU, we look forward to fighting for free speech on campus and spreading the ideas of liberty to the students of LSU.
