Heading into final exam weeks, the YAL chapter at Pasadena City College discovered a good amount of student support for our film screening activism. Prior to hosting the movie, we passed out t-shirts and more information about the screening which gathered a large amount of student interest.
“Trigger warning” signs were posted at the entrance, our audience cautiously stepped inside. They were introduced to Young Americans for Liberty, our Facebook page, concern about a “free speech area” designation on campus, and related opportunities in the liberty movement.
Those remaining for question-and-answer time afterward engaged in a dynamic discussion and expressed interest in being considered for more involvement, even in leadership roles in the Fall.
