NCSU Canned Food Drive!

During the last week before exams, YALers at NC State spent the week collecting canned goods and donations to give to a local soup kitchen in Raleigh. We encouraged the student body to choose charity and explained how giving because you want to is better than giving because you have to.

To persuade students to give more money to charity, we collected materials for whipped cream pies and let students “Pie The President” as another way to raise money. It’s a good stress relievers with exams right around the corner and a quick and easy political statement for the students who were upset with the outcome of the election.
