Today our newly formed Chapter ran our first Spring Recruitment Drive. My Vice-President and I tabled from 11:15am – 12:30pm in the lobby area of our cafeteria. This area is a high traffic area and a great location to engage with students. Our goal was to get 10 students to leave their name and contact information on our signup sheet. We surpassed our goal by getting 14 sign-ups, as well as several friends who verbally committed to signing up.
We were able to effectively reach students by asking them questions relating to their constitutional rights and by answering already interested students’ questions on what we represent. Overall, I was quite pleased in how our first Recruitment Drive went. I look forward to furthering our recruitment through our first official chapter meeting and our next recruiting event.Published in
