Spring at Bluffton University is a positive time. Students are eager to enjoy the warmer weather, professors are more likely to hold class outside, and apparently there is just as much liberty in the air as there is pollen. Our recruitment drive was under full swing and we were eager to spread the message of liberty.
We not only talked to current students and got several new signups from them but the incoming first-years were visiting that day too and they were more than interested in joining YAL as an alternative to the College Republicans or Young Democrats.
With several activism events scheduled for April before summer break hits, YAL at Bluffton University kicked off what we think will be a great year of learning about liberty and free markets.
