Obama Pleads for $50 Billion in State, Local Aid

The Washington Post reports:

President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 billion in emergency aid to state and local governments, saying the money is needed to avoid “massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters” and to support the still-fragile economic recovery.

In summary, the goverment needs more private money to create more goverment jobs. Obama is desperate to not have more job losses to further tarnish his reputation, but in reality, 90% of the jobs that were created last month were goverment workers (mostly temporary census workers).

Obama says all this spending is necessary to save the economy; I believe it’s necesseary to reduce government to save America.
