Obama’s Collectivist Division vs. Ron Paul’s Constitutional Unison

According to Politico, President Barack Obama rallied his “troops” of African-Americans, Latin Americans, young people and women to his campaign. He called these “forces” of his to “stand together once again.”

Compare and contrast this message with the message of liberty. We believe here at YAL as our Founding Fathers said in the Declaration of Independence (if imperfecting enacted when it came time to actually create a new government) that “all men are created equal.” We believe that all people should have equal rights and liberties, and that the government exists solely for the protection of those rights. As we’ve seen on our college campuses, this message brings people together, and unites them — whereas President Obama’s  message clearly divides us.

I don’t know about you, but I feel a R3volution coming on…

Note:  YAL does not support or oppose any candidate for office.
