The past three weeks have been a whirlwind of activity for YAL at the University of Central Florida.
At our first meeting, we had representatives from Turning Point USA and Generation Opportunity speak to our chapter about the resources, events, and expertise they bring to YAL. We are beyond excited to have a close relationship with them in the semesters to come.
Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Irma looming down upon Florida, many students old and new could not attend our kick-off meeting. Nevertheless, we had a great time with new students and old members who did attend, and our year is definitely off to a promising start. We already have a free speech ball locked and loaded, along with a Constitution Day forum, a Liberty Library event, and more!
